A site-specific work, performed at the Aliya Garden , premiered at Diver festival.
The first source of inspiration for the work is the poetry of Mahmoud Darwish, one of the greatest poets of the Palestinian people. His book "A Remembrance of Forgetfulness", is actually a poignant, painful, exposed and courageous war journal, which he wrote while living in Beirut during the Lebanon War.
Darwish writes in his book that he found a poem among the writings of a Sufi sage, and it is in fact a philosophical-poetic description of the story of the creation of the world. The text calls for observing symbols as reflecting mental, social and political realms.
This idea we seek to express in the work.
